Carletha Langford, Alton, 48, passed away on Saturday, March 5, 2016 at Alton Memorial Hospital in Alton , Illinois. Carletha Tampatha Shenette Littizs was born on February 17, 1968, in Alton, Illinois, the child of Eddie Edward Adams and Bernice Odessa Thomas. She was the sixth of seven children raised in Webster Temple Church Of God In Christ.
She was preceded by her beloved mother Bernice Thomas, son Nathan Franklin II and cherished sister Mary Ann Littizs.
She is survived by: husband and soul-mate Brian “Hubby Burr” Langford, loving son Elatia (Holly) Langford and beloved daughter Na Torisa “Punkin” Franklin; brother, Randy (Tanya) Veasley, Sr. of Maryland, WV; sister, Sheila Littizs of Los Angeles California; sister, Sa Brina Littizs-Taylor of Alton, IL; sister, Steffanie Littizs of Alton, IL; bother Willie (Missy) Veasley of Callaway, Florida; Christina Veasley of Illinois; Marc (Michelle) Langford of Edwardsville, IL; Tony Langford of Milwaukee, Wisconsin; Daisy Farmer McGee of Alton, IL; two grandchildren, Cecilia and “King Richard Langford” and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.
Visitation will convene Saturday, March 12, 2016 at Tabernacle Missionary Baptist Church from 1:00 p.m. until time of service at 2:00 p.m. Pastor John W. Buford will officiate.
