Robert E.L. Langley, 63, passed away 1:20 p.m. Monday, March 14, 2016 in the emergency room at Alton Memorial Hospital.
Born in Jerseyville on June 17, 1952, he was the son of Irene M. (Culp) Langley of wood River and the late James Clinton Langley.
In additon to his mother, he is survived by a son, James Robert "J.R." ; two daughters, April and Heather; several grandchildren; brother, Davis (Carla) Langley of Godfrey; sisters, Linda, Judy, Mary, Diane, Jamie and Carolyn; nieces and nephews.
His father and an infant sister, Marilyn preceded in death.
Family services and burial will be held in Oak Grove Cemetery in Jerseyville. Rev. David Prosser will officiate.
Marks Mortuary in Wood River is in charge of arrangements.
