Linda Henry

Linda K. Henry, 79, died at 4:34 p.m. Thursday, June 13, 2024 at OSF St. Anthony’s Healthcare Center in Alton.  Born March 16, 1945 in Alton, she was the daughter of the late George Henry Sr. and Verda (Hudgens) Henry and stepmother, Roberta Henry.  She retired as an administrative assistant for Hutchinson Products.  Surviving are nieces and nephews, Tamy and Rick Collins, Tyler and Kim Mitchell, and Wesley Mitchell and a special friend, Terry Averbeck.  Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, George Henry Jr. and James A. Mitchell, an aunt, Beatrice Stallings, and a nephew, Chris Mitchell.  Graveside services will be at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, June 20, 2024 at Upper Alton Cemetery.  Father Steven Janoski will officiate.  Gent Funeral Home in Alton is in charge of arrangements.  Online guestbook and information may be found at www.gentfuneralhome.com
