John Corder/Morgan, born on July 6, 1969, in Alton, Illinois, passed away on June 27, 2024, in Salem, New Hampshire. He spent his early years in Alton before moving to Boston, Massachusetts, with his mother. John was a beloved husband to Laurieanne (Curtin) Morgan, with whom he shared 27 years of marriage, and a devoted father to Austin Tyler Morgan and Megan Tyler Morgan, all of Salem, NH.
Known for his readiness to offer a listening ear and a helping hand, John's caring nature touched many lives. He was a pillar of support and kindness in his community.
John is survived by his mother, Leiloni Morgan; his wife, Laurieanne; his children, Austin and Megan ; his stepmother, Dolores Corder of Wood River, IL; his brother, Charles Morgan III, his wife Amy; his sisters, Kristin McCutchen and her husband Chris, of Wood River and Joline Fishlin and her husband Jared; his step-siblings, Michael Seitzinger and his wife Kelly of East Alton, IL and Deana Camber and her wife Michele of Wood River, IL; and Nephew John Coker and his wife Tiffany of Alton, IL; Brianne Coker of Wood River, IL and many more nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, John Corder; adoptive father, Charles Morgan; and grandparents, Lenora Rook and Charles Corder.
Services will be held on July 2nd from 4:00 PM to 6:30 PM at Lynch-Cantillon in Woburn, MA. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date in Illinois.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in John's memory to the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, P.O. Box 849168, Boston, MA 02284-9168, honoring his compassionate spirit and the care he always extended to others.
