Michael Lee Goodwin, 83, died at 7:00 a.m. Thursday, June 20, 2024 at his home in Chester, IL. Born September 11, 1940 in Alton, he was the son of Lucille (Shifflett) Goodwin. Mr. Goodwin retired as a photographer for Olin Mills Photography and was a member of the Church of The Nazarene in Glen Carbon. On November 25, 2006 he married the former Darleen Breece. She survives. Also surviving are two daughters, Stacey Goodwin of Alton and Regina Barnhart (Greg) of Chester, one son, Larry Breece (Leslie) of Park Hills, MO, nine grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Karen Goodwin. Graveside services will be at 11:00 a.m. Monday, June 24, 2024 at Upper Alton Cemetery.
