Sharron J. Turner, 80 went to be with the Lord at 7:35 am Wednesday, March 30, 2016 at Bethalto Care Center.
She was born on December 11, 1935 in West Frankfort, IL, daughter of Wilson and Lorraine (Willis) Stagner.
She married Clarence C. Turner on September 6, 1968 in Alton, IL. He preceded her in death on August 23, 2014.
Sharron was a laborer at Owens Illinois Glass for 44 years, retiring in 1979. She enjoyed bingo, camping and watching the WWE. She loved her dogs, Angel and Sandy and most of all spending time with her family and friends.
She is survived by her children and their spouses, Carla and David Walker of NC, Laura J. and Wesley Howard of Cottage Hills, Kevin Cannon of IL and Randy Cannon of Bethalto; numerous grandchildren and great grand grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, a daughter, Lisa Gunter; a grandson, Andrew Schneider, three brothers and two sisters.
A Memorial visitation will be from 4 to 7 pm Wednesday, April 6, 2016 at Elias, Kallal & Schaaf Funeral Home in Bethalto.
Private Family Burial will be at a later date at Wanda Cemetery in South Roxana, IL.
