WOOD RIVER - Belk Park was the site of the 2023 Hickory Stick Invitational, a large boy's golf tournament held annually. This year it was mainly small schools, many in the Riverbend area. Schools photographed Monday morning were Marquette Catholic, Father McGivney Catholic, Metro-East Lutheran, East Alton-Wood River, Granite City, Piasa Southwestern, Triad, Civic Memorial, and Jerseyville.
