Raymonde Munzner, 85, passed away at 9:45 am Wednesday March 9, 2016 at home with her daughter by her side.
She was born on February 7, 1931 in Bordeaux, France, daughter of Jean & Odette Bernard.
Raymonde came to the United States in 1962 from France on the Queen Elizabeth and worked for Eastwood Grade School in East Alton. She was an avid St. Louis Cardinal Baseball fan and enjoyed dancing and horseback riding.
She is survived by her two grandchildren and spouse, Chad Green of Maryville and David & Cheryl Pendleton of Alaska: one great granddaughter, Lauren Bisky of Alaska and a daughter and fiancé, Charline Pendleton of Maryville and Jim Hernandez of Alton.
Raymonde was preceded in death by her parents and one brother and one sister.
Visitation will be from 9:00 am until time of Memorial Mass at 10:00 am Wednesday, March 16, 2016 at SS Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Alton with Monsignor Kenneth Stefen celebrant.
Cremation will follow.
Inurnment will be at a later date at Upper Alton Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to the funeral home for funeral expenses.
