Robert Eugene “Gene” Dunham, 77 of Shipman passed away March 22, 2016 at his home with his family at his side.He was born Jan 24, 1939 in Fieldon, IL to the late Lester & Armeda (Talley) Dunham.He married Judy (Wyatt) Dunham on Oct 18, 1962 in Carlinville. She survives.They have shared 53 years together.They raised wonderful children together.Surviving are 3 sons: Terry (Sherrie) Dunham of Shipman, Kevin (April) Dunham of E Alton, and Kelly (Tracy) Dunham of Brighton, 1 Daughter: Sherry Seets (Kevin Chappell) of JerseyvilleAlso surviving are 3 brothers: Gerald (Brenda) Dunham of Brighton, John (Joy) Dunham of Jerseyville and Larry (Barb) Dunham of Kane. 2 Sisters: Clara (Tom) Stierley of Jerseyville and Irene Anderson of Jerseyville. Sisters in Laws: Alice Dunham of Godfrey and Tammy Pyle of Bethalto. 1 Brother in Law: Joe Wyatt of Alton.14 Grandchildren: Nicole (TJ) Huber, Travis (Katie) Dunham, Alicia (Jeremy) Jeffreys, Bobby Dunham, Andy Price, Kayla (Brian) Berkley, Mikey Seets, Jarred (Anna) Dunham, Adam (Melissa) Dunham, Kelsea (Brian) Seets, Tyler (Meghan) Dunham, Anissa (David) Carroll, Taylor (Robby) Dunham, & Tanner Dunham15 Great Grandchildren: Ashlyn, Colton & Brooklyn Huber, Erica Brackett, Makenzie Jeffreys, Kailey McAfee, Eli and Sam Dunham, Alice Meadows, Aiven Price, Evelyn Berkley, Kopelynn Dunham, Mason Dunham, Dominic Sawyer and Audrey Able.He was preceded in death by one son, Jerry Dean Dunham, 2 brothers: Frank & James Dunham and 1 Sister: Nina Marshall.Visitation will begin at 10 am Fri March 25, 2016 until services at Noon at the Targhetta & Wooldridge F H in Brighton with Rev Wilbur Cain officiating.Burial will be in the Shipman Cemetery.Memorials may be made to Shipman Volunteer Fire DepartmentOnline information and guestbook may be found at www.targhettaandwooldridge.com
