Ashley Louise Delp, 29, was granted her angel wings, on April 1, 2016 at 12:48pm from complications of her liver condition (NASH), with her family by her side. She was born May 3, 1986, in Alton, to Robbie and Edwina Delp.
She loved life and gave to anyone who needed a hand and a loving thought. She loved being with her family, no matter where they were or what they were doing. She studied massage therapy at Sanford Brown and criminal justice at Lewis and Clark Community College. She enjoyed shopping, reading, crafting, yard sales, her pets Bella and Izzy, and having lunch with her friends.
She is survived by her parents, Edwina and Robbie Delp of East Alton, one brother: Dana and Kim Delp, their children, Grace, Jasper, and Quincy of Edwardsville and Brian Pratt a close and loving friend. They will miss her beautiful sweet smile and loving ways.
She was preceded in death are grandparents Damon and Lena Delp, Edward and Juanita McNelly, and her aunt Kannarol Love McNelly
In celebration of her life, visitation, will be from 4pm to 8pm on Thursday, April 7, 2016, at Pitchford Funeral Home in Wood River. Funeral services will be held at 10:30am on Friday, April 8, 2016, at the funeral home.
